Jeremiah Part 1 (Chapters 1-25) You've Forsaken Me: Repent and Return - Sunday Ladies' Study, Springfield

A Nation...God is very clear in His Word: neither Israel nor any other country can walk in unfaithfulness to God and go unpunished (Ezekiel 14: 12-20)
A Message...The message is hard, but God's heart is not judgment - it's repentance. At any moment, God can turn bad situations around. But we have to listen!
A Man...No Old Testament prophet was as vulnerable or personal as Jeremiah. His prayers, struggles, questions, disappointments, doubts, and tears will show you how to walk more honestly and, as a result, more intimately with God. Through Jeremiah you will see how to serve God in the faithful, though often difficult, exercise of the gifts and ministry He has given each of us.

Isaiah Part 2 (Chapters 40-66) Comfort, O Comfort My People - Monday Coed Study

What a privilege - to be called by God to comfort His people, especially when you've also been the messenger of His displeasure and His forthcoming judgment. Part 1 (chapters 1-39) of Isaiah was stern - like a father's lecture before a spanking. Part 2 (chapters 40-66) is more like after the whipping - when the Father takes you in His everlasting arms drawing you close to His heart.

Daniel Part 2 (Chapters 7-12) Gaining Understanding of the Time of the End - Thursday Ladies' Study

Daniel is God's general blueprint for all of prophecy. Every single event will find its place in the overall scheme of events laid out in Daniel 7-12. These chapters add flesh to the bones of the vision of the statue and the stone that crushes it as recorded in Daniel 2. You will "Gain Understanding of the Time of the End" and thus be aware of Jesus' mandate to redeem the time as you ready yourself to meet your God. Jesus is coming - you only have this life to prepare for that glorious day. Press on, so you will hear His "Well done."

John Part 2 (Chapters 12-21) - Thursday Ladies' Study
Begins March 11, 9:15-11:45am, Annex 3
This study is so that you might share in great measure the intimacy the disciples knew with the Lord when He drew aside from the world to instruct His own. This portion of the Gospel of John, especially chapters 13 through 17, contains some of the most enlightened teaching to be found in the Word of God on the intimacy that belongs to the child of God with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If you want to know what Jesus meant when He said that He had come that we might have life and have it more abundantly, it is here in this second segment of John that you will find the abundance of life to which Jesus is referring.

Romans Part 2 (Chapters 6-8) Freed From Sin's Power - Thursday Ladies' Study

There are no chapters in all the Word of God that are more enlightening or more liberating than Romans 6, 7, and 8 - chapters which explain what it means to be in Christ. You will do an overview of the book as a whole to see the context into which chapters 6-8 fit.

Beloved Disciple - John (Beth Moore) - Thursday Ladies' Study

Beloved Disciple: The Life and Ministry of John - An in-depth study of the life of John the apostle and his relationship with the One who loved him. John referred to himself as "the disciple whom Jesus loved." Just as Christ took John on a lifelong journey into the depths of His love, He will do the same for you. The Bridegroom's love is unmatched and inexhaustible, and He is waiting to lavish it on you, His beloved. The goal is to get to know John's heart as Christ's beloved disciple and as you travel with him, grow in your desire to follow Christ and to love Him with all your being. This 11 week interactive study includes personal, daily, assignments and weekly, video centered group sessions.
