IMMANUEL IN THE COMMUNITY
Members of Fairfax County Police Department showcase their skills in motorcycle handling during a community event for guests of Leewood Healthcare Center in Springfield. Second Lieutenant Mark Payton, Motor Supervisor / Motor 1 of the Fairfax County Police explained safety features, duties and responsibilties, and highlighted special skills of the motor patrol. Participating were PFC Joe Moore, PFC Dave Pierce, PFC Chris Burris, PFC Kevin Gantt, and PFC Jim Vesper.
Guests were brought over from the Healthcare Center in comfort aboard one of Immanuel's shuttles driven by Parking and Shuttle Coordinator Rich Bates. Immanuel has a long and warm relationship with Leewood. Through the years, we have hosted Bible studies, worship services, and sing-alongs for the guests and staff of Leewood.
