Hebrews 11 gives example after example of men and women with great faith. Although not perfect, they served Him faithfully in a pagan world. So the Faith and Culture ABF seeks to encourage one another to confront the reality of today's problems with the timeless truths of God's Word. Through study of the Scripture laced with interactive discussion of current events, accompanied by plenty of love and laughter, they lock arms and walk faithfully with Christ and witness to their world.
They spend time each Sunday morning in group prayer at tables for individual concerns. Whether enjoying a cup of coffee and goodies on a Sunday morning, sharing a Sunday lunch at Fuddruckers, having old-fashioned covered-dish dinners, or their annual Christmas banquet, they meet often to create opportunities for friendship. Though most of the class are in their 50's, adults of all ages and life stages are welcome to come discover what it means to be biblically counter-cultural. Through it all, they never forget: "In Him we live, and move, and have our being...." (Acts 17:28)
