Adult Bible Fellowships

Koinonia:

Koinonia is the Greek word for “fellowship” or “sharing in common.” Their aim is to follow the example of the early church, who shared their devotion to the truth of Scripture, and their lives. In addition to their emphasis on relevant teaching, fellowship defines Koinonia. Their goal is to overcome the "bigness" of IBC, assisting each other as they develop key friendships, and provide the assurance that everyone belongs.

They also make sure that fellowship happens "between the Sundays." They want the Christian community to be part of their everyday lives, and Christ to influence their every waking thought. To this end they hold one another accountable, by "teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer." (Acts 2:42)
