박선우 전도사는 한국에서 태어나 대학생 시절 예수님을 영접하였습니다 . 서울대학교 공과대학을 졸업한 후 학업을 계속하기 위하여 미국으로 유학을 왔으며 , 유학을 마친 후엔 미국내 여러 대학과 정부기관에서 연구원으로 일을 하였습니다 . 오랫동안 평신도 지도자로 교회를 섬겨오던 중 젊었을 때 받았던 주님의 재 부르심을 받고 워싱턴침례신학 대학원에서 목회학 석사과정을 마쳤으며 최근 수년 동안은 와싱톤한인교회에서 중보기도사역과 전도훈련 사역자로 섬겨왔습니다 . 교회의 첫째 사명은 만민에게 그리스도의 복음을 증거하는 것이며 이를 위하여 제자훈련과 치유사역이 병행되어야 한다고 믿고 있습니다 . 또한 , 세속적 인본주의와 과학적 물질주의에 갇혀있는 21 세기의 영혼들을 구하기 위해서는 교회가 복음의 진리와 기도의 능력으로 무장되어 전투하는 교회의 모습을 회복해야 한다고 믿고 있습니다 . 박 전도사는 워싱턴 한인봉사센터에 근무하고 있는 부인 박에스더 와의 사이에 1 남 1 녀의 자녀를 두고 있습니다 .

Sunwoo Park was born in Korea and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in his twenties. After graduating from Seoul National University, he came to the United States for his graduate program in engineering at University of Texas at Austin. After finishing studies, he has worked for universities and governmental agencies as a research scientist and engineer. While serving the Lord as a lay leader for years, he sensed a re-calling from God to serve for His ministry. He previously experienced a calling earlier in his life. He recently completed a Master of Divinity degree at Washington Baptist University and served as an intercessory prayer team leader and evangelism-training coordinator at Korean United Methodist Church of Greater Washington. He believes that the first mission of a church is to preach the Gospel to all creation. He also believes that, in order to rescue the 21st century generation from secular humanism and scientific materialism, the church should restore its spiritual authority and power through sound Bible preaching and fervent prayer. Sunwoo met his wife Esther, currently serving with the Korean Community Service Center, during college in Seoul. They have been happily married for over twenty years and have a daughter, Jean, and a son, Daniel.
