Advent

Sunday, December 21, the Barea Family lead our fourth Advent Devotional.

Advent Week 4: Philippians 2:5-11

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Sunday December 14 the Legagnuer Family lead our Advent Devotional.

Advent Week 3: Romans 8:1-3

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,  because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,[b] God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Sunday, December 7, the Parsons Family lead our second devotional.

Advent Week 2, Psalm 46:10-11

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress

Sunday, November 30, the Poole family lead our first devotional.

Advent  Week 1, Galations 4:4-5

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

MUSIC

Immanuel's Music Ministry is all about the "state of the heart" for worship first, and then the state of the art. How we sound is the state of the art, while our worship is in fact the state of our heart.
