Clint and Tammy Shondelmyer
Clint and Tammy joined Immanuel’s ministry team in January 1997. Clint was born and raised in western PA as the youngest of five children. He accepted Christ at the age of five and continued to be involved in church activities throughout high school. Tammy grew up in Lancaster, PA where her father has been a pastor for forty years. She also believed in Jesus for salvation at an early age. Clint and Tammy met at Philadelphia College of Bible.
While in college, Clint traveled with various music ensembles including a trombone septet and a male quartet. Clint graduated in 1987 with the Bachelor of Science in Bible and Bachelor of Music degrees, and also completed a Master of Music degree with an emphasis in instrumental conducting from George Mason University in 2004. Tammy received the Bachelor of Science in Bible and Bachelor of Education degrees in 1989. They were married in 1989 and have served at churches in Pennsylvania and Florida.
Three children, Alena, Garrett, and Madison, make home a busy place. Other than spending time playing with his children, which is his favorite pastime, Clint also enjoys listening to music and watching or participating in sports. His favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he has also adopted the Redskins since moving to Northern VA. Tammy loves teaching children, and serves as a half-day kindergarten instructor at Immanuel Christian School. She likes to read and also enjoys creating new recipes by experimenting in the kitchen.
