Ron and Cathryn Jones

Ron Jones serves as the fifth Senior Pastor of Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Virginia, where thousands of people worship each weekend from the Washington D.C. area, many of whom are Pentagon leaders, White House officials, and members of Congress. His passion is to lead people into the presence of God through biblical and anointed preaching that aims to transform lives.

Dr. Jones earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Financial Planning from Purdue University, a Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree in Expository Preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Biblical financial stewardship was the focus of his doctoral project.

After a successful career in sales and marketing lasting more than six years, Ron entered vocational ministry in 1991 in response to God's call. Since then he has served as Senior Pastor and church planter to churches in Texas and Oklahoma. Before coming to Immanuel, he served as Executive and Teaching Pastor at a nationally recognized church in Ft. Worth, Texas.

With his wife Cathryn, Ron developed a money and marriage conference called Becoming Financial Soul Mates™ ( www.financialsoulmates.com ) and publishes a regular newsletter called Financial Soul Mates eNews.™ He is the author of one book titled Jesus, Money, and Me.

Born and raised in Indiana, Ron spent twenty years in Texas where he met Cathryn, a Dallas native. Ron and Cathryn are husband and wife, best friends, ministry partners, and financial soul mates. They live in Fairfax Station, Virginia, with their two children and a golden retriever.
