Immanuel is special because of our size, and the many ministries we offer. We want you to know that we think we are special in spite of our size too. Immanuel is a large church, and for some first-time guests, the experience— the crowds moving through our hallways after a worship service, children rushing off to their classes, moms and dads on their way to the nursery — all this can be overwhelming. "How do I find my way around?” “How will we fit in? “Is this the right church for our family?” We understand that. Just relax and get to know us at your own pace.

By now you’ve figured out that Immanuel Bible Church is all about teaching and applying the Bible. We want everyone to grow in their knowledge of and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. In addition to our Worship Service, try an Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) on Sunday morning. There you can meet others and develop new friendships. Our ABF’s feature teachers with outstanding experience and the ability to bring the Bible to life in practical ways. We also provide a wide variety of evening Bible studies and courses through the Immanuel Bible Institute and Lay Counselor Training program. They offer not only spiritual growth and training to better use your gifts, but you’ll get another sampling of the rich community life at Immanuel.

Finally, the best “first step” you can take to move from attending to belonging is to try a small group. Take a look through our list of groups. Our small groups meet in homes throughout our community. But whether in an ABF, an evening Bible study, a small group, or a training class, there is a place for you at Immanuel.
