Education

Both in our lives and in our ability to adapt to the needs of the times, God has equiped us for where we are right now. Within the Adult Education Ministry, new leaders are being equipped, and existing leaders are being built up. Immanuel Bible Institute courses in theology, Bible survey, church history, evangelism, apologetics, how to study the Bible, and how to be a better teacher and disciple-maker comprise the “high bar” of quality at Immanuel. Students digest comprehensive notes, assigned texts and participate in class assignments. Individual classes have consistently received “excellent” ratings from the IBI students.

Precept Bible studies and Beth Moore topical studies were attended by about 300 women, men, and children each semester, helping them to better face life’s challenges. They know the Scripture and put it into practice, and provide encouragement and support to one another to develop a closer walk with God.

With each course, men and women find themselves better prepared to really “Serve Him Faithfully.” They have found that they can “Share Him Boldly” when their confidence is bolstered with understanding. And all this is based on “Seeking Him Constantly” through gaining an appreciation for the magnificent God of the Bible.
