Sunday Evening Ladies' Precept Study
"Isaiah Part 1"

Begins September 7, 5:30–7:30pm
The Word of the Holy One of Israel, the Remnant, and the Nations, and the promise of the Child to be born, the crown jewel of the Old Testament prophets that strikes awe in the heart of the reader.  Prophecies from Isaiah are mentioned in twenty two places in the New Testament, often quoted by Jesus, the Messiah.  You’ll meet the Holy One of Israel and learn how He deals with those who claim Him as God but don’t honor Him as God in the way they live.  We’ll find the destiny of nations, the future of mankind, including ours.

"Breaking Free"

Study Begins September 16, 9:15–11:45am
This study is about making liberty in Christ a reality in life. Based on the book of Isaiah, this study will lead you through Scripture to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. It will help you identify and remove spiritual obstacles and enjoy the abundant life promised every believer.

"Sermon on the Mount"

Faith that does not compromise is promised a reward in the world to come, and also a life free of anxiety in this world.  Get a deeper understanding of the fruit and security that come with righteousness in the life of a true believer.

"Revival or Captivity?" –  2 Kings & 2 Chronicles

Begins September 18, 9:15–11:45am
God’s holiness has been forgotten or proudly ignored by generation after generation since Adam and Eve.  Continued disobedience to His commands and worship of other gods resulted in dire consequences and captivity for the nation Israel.  May we learn from this period of history and not assume God’s love overrides His righteous judgment.

"Philippians"

Is it possible to control your mind?  How do you respond to stress, pressure, anxiety?  Is it possible to have a peace that surpasses human understanding when the world around you is caving in?  This study will help you see things with an eternal perspective as you learn from the lives of Jesus and Paul.  Discover joy in your life that the world cannot take away!

"A Woman’s Heart"

Begins September 18, 9:15–11:45am
This study based primarily on the book of Exodus takes you on a journey into why God would choose to live in a wilderness tabernacle made by human hands and explores the parallels between the physical tabernacle and the tabernacle of the human heart.

"Romans Part 1" — In & Out Study

Begins September 18, 9:15–11:45am
You mean sin is real?  The book of Romans is the Constitution of our faith, our compass on the journey to righteous living.  In it Paul explains how God answers our need for righteousness through His perfect plan of salvation.

Thursday Evening Co-ed  Precept Study 
"Understanding the Anger of God" — Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk

Begins September 18, 7–8:30pm
These were the last prophets to the Southern Kingdom of Judah before it was taken into captivity to Babylon. Each prophet cried out to a nation which needed to heed the Word of the Lord about judgment.  Any nation who worshiped idols would be judged, but God would warn them first.  These prophets will teach you how God deals with those who turn away from Him and how He gives a warning to turn to Him rather than perish.
