The MOB gives you an opportunity to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with other men as we study God’s Word together and apply God’s truth in our lives.
Join us as we study the Apostle Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus to learn what God’s Word has to teach us about the beliefs, privileges, responsibilities, and behaviors of a Christian.

Led by Andrew Potter, the theme for this year will be: “Back to the Future: Romans & 21st Century Faith” while referring to the book “Encountering the Book of Romans: A Theological Survey” by Douglas Moo (available in the IBC Bookstore). No registration required.
Solomon's Porch serves as a forum for the discussion of relevant, practical, historical, cultural, political and theological issues impacting men in their daily lives.

BREAKFAST WITH CHAMPIONS
Breakfast With Champions is a fellowship and outreach event for men of all ages. This men's gathering is a great opportunity to plug in with other men of the church and hear a challenging message from a champion of the faith.

"Good and Evil: One Soldier's Extraordinary Battle" - On Saturday, September 22, our guest speaker was COL Timothy M. Karcher. COL Karcher is from St. Louis, Missouri, and is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia. His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri and two Masters Degrees from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic Course, the Armor Officer Advance Course, Command and General Staff College, and the School of Advanced Military Studies.
While serving in Sadr City, Baghdad, Iraq in June 2009, COL Karcher’s vehicle was struck by an explosive, resulting in the traumatic amputation of his legs above the knee. Since that time, he has been healing and rehabilitating in various hospitals in Europe and the United States. He has recently completed significant rehabilitation at the Brooke Army Medical Center’s Center for the Intrepid. COL Karcher currently serves as the Director of the US Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2), which provides advocacy and support for our most severely wounded, injured, and ill Soldiers and Veterans.
COL Karcher’s awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Expert Infantryman’s Badge, the United States Army Ranger Tab, and the Airborne Badge.
