Parenting

Complete parent education, training and encouragement are offered for Moms, Dads, and families of children from birth through the teen years. Marriage enhancement training, child dedication preparation, adoption and home education support networks, baptism and membership classes round out the offerings of this very strategic ministry.

Our ministries to moms continues to grow – MOPS, E-Moms, and High-Moms are a great encouragement to mothers in our church and community. Our child dedication classes and parenting classes have been well received by those who attended. We offer a baby dedication service, followed by a reception for families and friends. The service and reception allows a more intimate and special time for parents and guests on this important occasion. Parenting classes are always well attended. Prepare and care, building blocks, and parenting today’s adolescent classes are filled with a wealth of information and support forparents striving to be effective in their God-given roles.

Child Dedication
This ceremony is a special time to make public your desire to raise your child to know God through His Son, Jesus Christ. The service includes special music, a challenge to the parents, a parents pledge and is followed by a special reception. You are welcome to invite family and friends to join you for this special event. One Sunday morning class precedes the ceremony and is designed to help you understand the significance of dedicating your child to the Lord.
