Encouraging Mothers of Preschoolers –
Pregnancy Thru Kindergarten

In our homes of origin many of us learned the deepest lessons about relationship, developed life routines and acquired our tastes and preferences. And now, as moms, we long to create homes where our families can thrive and grow -- and we can too.

Our homes must be safe places – physically, spiritually and also emotionally safe. In our homes we bond, eat, play, rest, learn, strengthen and provision our special home spaces. The theme the HOME factor: BEGIN HERE ... GO THERE enriches our perspective and hones our abilities to create a cocoon of home.

By creating this healthy cocoon, it does two things. As women, our home experience should fill us and prepare us for today’s world. We return HOME to reconnect and refuel -- but we'll move from the HOME to make a difference. As mothers, our HOME is about creating this experience for our children. A place where they can learn the fundamentals of a strong faithful and purposeful childhood as we prepare them to also make a difference in today’s world.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians about spiritual growth. In Ephesians 3:17 he said….Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow into God's love and keep you strong. Paul is telling us that Christ indwells in every Christian but is truly "at home" with believers who sincerely welcome him into their everyday lives. So how does this relate to…..the HOME Factor and MOPS? We hope our year of inspiring speakers, fun activities and wonderful fellowship will encourage, equip and energize you to welcome Christ into your home.
