Our mission is to make students aware that they are in a spiritual Crossfire and to ignite them On Fire for the Cross of Jesus Christ. Our mission as a church has been simply coined as "Seeking Him Constantly, Serving Him Faithfully, Sharing Him Boldly". This school year (2005-2006) we are putting an emphasis on "Sharing Jesus Boldly".

One of the ways we are doing that is by reaching out to Immanuel's immediate community. Students on the servant team will join us in ministering to students in surrounding neighborhoods. In addition, we are modifying our small group setting with the hopes of creating a more intimate and committed community.

X" is an abbreviation for Christ in Greek, and it also signifies a Christian. "Factor" is "the difference". Since Christ is the difference in our lives, we can make a difference in the world around us by seeking, serving, and sharing the love of Jesus. We as a ministry want to be students who "Make the Difference".

X-Factor is a purpose driven ministry for High School students at Immanuel. Our ministry is based on a campus model, in which students are organized into four campuses by geographic location of their high school or residence. A Campus Director oversees each campus. Within the campus structure, students are organized into small groups of 5-10 members. We utilize these groups as part of our strategy to reach and disciple students.
