On Sunday, February 26, the Elders of Immanuel installrf Jesse Johnson as Immanuel's first Lead Teaching Pastor. Morning ABF classes, Student ministries and Venture were canceled in order that all could attend one of the three morning services.
Dr. Michael Easley, former senior pastor of Immanuel, was our guest speaker for the morning. Dr. Easley and Jesse Johnson greeted the congregation at a reception in the Atrium following each of the morning services.
Sunday eveing, a service of praise and thanksgiving was held at 6:30pm. Members of Jesse's family were introduced and long-time friends lead worship thru several muscial selections.Deidre Johnson's father closed the service in prayer for Jesse, their family, and Immanuel.
